Back in April, Yolanda del Riego exhibited her first dye sublimation on aluminum prints. (See Escalada insostenible, one of her recent climate change-themed exhibitions.)
One of the hallmarks of Yolanda del Riego's visual language is her bold use of color. The gorgeous vibrancy of this material, with its enamel-like qualities, magnificently complements her work.
Dye sublimation aluminum prints are scratch-resistant and waterproof. They are also very light.
We usually frame these prints with a perimeter aluminum frame. Another option is a floating frame. You can even hang them unframed using adhesive hooks or double-sided tape.
