Our Story

An artist and her two daughters

WAIART is a family venture founded in 2012 by Cat Heller to publish the digital print editions of Spanish/American artist Yolanda del Riego.

Sisters Cat and Chris Heller del Riego combine their expertise to document and promote Yolanda del Riego's artworks online and through art exhibitions and art projects.

Our Team


Cat Heller

Founding Partner

Cat Heller has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years, with experience spanning software development, technology evangelism, program management and digital marketing. After leaving Microsoft Corporation in 2011, she combined her interests in technology, art and design by founding WAIART. 


Chris Heller


Christine Heller is a former professor of Engineering at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Madrid, Spain). An active participant in European science policy for over a decade, she applies her experience in interdisciplinary projects involving science, technology and the humanities to leading WAIART's participation in science and climate change related events.


Yolanda del Riego

Visual Artist
